My Background

Welcome, and thanks for being here.

I grew up in Cannon Falls, Minnesota, and earned my Bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. During a solo backpacking trip across Europe following my college graduation, it became clear that my life path, up until that point, was undeniably pointing towards digital multimedia production; I just needed that peaceful time and space to see it. A career change was then in the works, along with an irresistible pull to move to Ireland. 

The following year, I obtained a Working Holiday Visa, which lead me to volunteering in Mayo, Cavan, and Cork for ten months. I connected with incredible people from around the world, while spending my free time building and writing for my travel blog, and creating short-form multimedia content on my travel TikTok page.

Currently, I am finishing up a Master's degree in Journalism and Digital Communications at the University of Limerick, which will conclude at the end of August 2026.

I'm beyond excited to see my dream career materialize, and to mesh my passion for online creation with helping others through providing meaningful information.

I hold permission to work in Ireland Full Time under a Stamp 2 visa, and for the next two years I will have Full Time work eligibility under a Stamp 1G visa through the Third Level Graduate Programme.

Outside of the online communications realm, I enjoy solo traveling, hiking, dancing, musical theatre, teaching yoga, and making it a personal mission to find every city's best coffee shop.
